Assured Guaranty is seeking to hire a Product Software Developer to join their Secondary Market team to build front-ends for advanced products powered by data, AI or advanced analytics that will scale their Secondary Market business operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Help design, develop, or maintain scalable business products.
- Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), HTML, and CSS.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices.
- Debug issues, fix defects, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver products that meet business needs.
- Work with IT partners to ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical decisions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (if recent graduate).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and present assignments concisely and accurately.
