BJ's Wholesale Club is looking to improve its B2B division by implementing new policies and procedures, providing analytical support, and identifying opportunities for growth through market research and innovation.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional merchandising or retail operations experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Generates financial reports and analyzes data to draw conclusions and provide insights and recommendations to help reach and exceed sales and margin plan
- Conducting research on customer preferences, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for improving merchandising strategies and optimizing product offerings.
- Collaborate with both Pamp;A and supply chain in monitoring and analyzing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability for B2B customers, while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. This includes monitoring dedicated space for B2B in DC’s and in high volume clubs.
- Work closely with B2B sales operations, DC operations, club operations and others to ensure that product logistics are optimal and meet the needs of both BJ’s and the business member.
- Provide training and support to the sales team and B2B customers on product features, benefits, and merchandising best practices.
- Work with B2B sales team, product solutions managers, amp; merchants to convey, track amp; execute offers amp; requests.
- Work broadly to understand key industry trends to bring B2B specific solutions that differentiate BJ’s B2B division. Participate in key selling activities such as Quarterly business reviews and club walks
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in business or operations related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJs Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
