igus is looking to grow the drylin E product line in the United States, Canada, and Mexico by ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Requirements
- Knowledge of motors such as, stepper, servo, BLDC motors as well as experience with PLCs and driver/controllers.
- Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for igus linear actuators, motors and drives to customers and igus sales teams within N. America.
- Work with product expert systems and online tools to identify suitable products to reduce the costs and / or improve the technology for customers
- Act as primary project manager on projects as defined by the Product Manager including direct contact with customers, RSM’s, Inside Sales and Engineering
- Assist in pricing both standard and custom parts to help create timely quotes and support the sales teams
- Develop and maintain training program for new hires and ongoing training plan and be able to provide training in alignment with the Training and Development Department
- Assist in marketing activities such as catalog, digital content, and printed materials
- Coordinate and conduct sales campaigns: based on projects, focused mailings. These will include box mailings as well as digital media.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- National and international Travel on some occasions
- Self-starter; motivated, team focused and results driven with developed organizational, and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
