Potters is looking to manage its global product stewardship and safety datasheets, oversee regulatory requirements for safe use and handling of its product portfolio, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Materials chemistry
- Experience with government regulations, HSE and regulatory agencies
- Experience in finding and understanding various product regulations; ex: REACH, TSCA, K‐REACH, global food contact, personal care, etc.
- Data and information management and organization skills
Responsibilities
- Process all customer and external product regulatory inquiries
- Conduct due diligence on the regulations and provide guidance on requirements for compliance
- Coordinate and discuss responses with internal stakeholders. Where required, coordinate communications with external parties (customers, regulatory bodies, etc.
- Manage supplier compliance requirements
- Manage existing global safety datasheet inventory and new product SDS requirements
- Maintain existing management systems and procedures. Identify any gaps, develop new protocols, procedures and management systems where needed
Other
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering
- Desired Level: MS in Regulatory Science
- 3+ years experience government regulations, HSE and regulatory agencies
- Team Player with ability to work autonomously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
