Requirements
- Experience with localization operations and strategy or experience in internationalization.
- Experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
- Ability to craft a solution to meet stakeholder and user needs leveraging existing Menu of Services or new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support the localization of one or several Google products from inception to launch, managing delivery, cost and quality of projects and overseeing vendor execution.
- Understand Localization workflows and services, identify tool and process needs to enable operational scaling, collaborate with Operations and Engineering to support deployment, with guidance from the Portfolio Lead.
- Build compelling case for new business opportunities develop insightful recommendations and drive development and implementation.
- Structure and package your work into presentations and communications that influence various audiences.
- Support strong relationships with product teams, educating and advising them on their product’s localization journey.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs related to a product’s localization.
- Be accountable for the product’s localization budget, from understanding the product’s roadmap to drive the annual planning, to advising stakeholders on optimizing their spend.
Other
- 5 years of experience in program management and a customer facing role.
- Ability to present to executive decision-makers in a clear and compelling manner.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
