OPEX Corporation is looking to solve the problem of providing effective product support and increasing machine serviceability and product hardening through the hiring of a Product Support Engineer.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Ability to communicate technical information to both highly technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with and understand Mechanical, Electrical, and PC components
Responsibilities
- Provide system analysis of machine performance and parts usage trends to Engineering.
- Function as intermediary between Engineering and Technical Support, ensuring both groups are always informed.
- Take lead on all new/beta HW and SW upgrades, providing ongoing detailed feedback to Engineering and Technical Support.
- Create and maintain knowledgebase of problems and solutions on assigned equipment.
- Assist L3 Tech Support Reps with advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist with final review of documentation.
- Maintain ability to travel as needed to Customer sites and Moorestown Home Office.
Other
- B.S. degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent
- Ability to travel 50% of the year to customer sites throughout the US and OPEX facilities in Moorestown, NJ and Plano, TX
