Trane Technologies is looking to provide leadership for their Catalog AHU, Terminal and VAV Product Support team to delight internal and external customers through timely and knowledgeable product support, enhance field sales team efficiency, and provide positive customer experiences. This role will also lead sales enablement initiatives to contribute to the growth of the Airside business.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years combined working experience in areas of product management, marketing, sales, operations, and/or related fields.
- Experience with Trane Select Assist (TSA) and Zendesk a plus.
- Support Trane Select Assist (TSA) defect reduction and testing efforts through active involvement in ongoing testing and system improvement activities.
- Utilize Lean thinking to develop and/or improve standard work and processes.
- Maintain good understanding of major competitive product lines, marketing strategies, current system types, and relative costs.
- Assist Product Support Engineers in the resolution of conflicts with internal or external customers in the areas of, but not limited to, technical, systems, application, customer specification, job expediting and pricing questions.
- Assist the field organization in developing bid strategies and optimizing the product bill of material.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Product Support Engineers in daily support of the field organization including ownership of customer satisfaction metrics.
- Develop and lead the managing for daily/weekly improvement process surrounding these metrics.
- Lead and participate in coordinated jobs pricing process aligned to business unit standard processes.
- Assist the field organization in developing bid strategies and optimizing the product bill of material.
- Support Trane Select Assist (TSA) defect reduction and testing efforts through active involvement in ongoing testing and system improvement activities.
- Utilize Lean thinking to develop and/or improve standard work and processes.
- Partner with Product Management team to assist with developing and executing commercialization plans for new and existing airside products.

- Create and manage talent management strategy utilizing skills matrix and talent succession planning methodologies.
- Based on this strategy, develop and coach team members in advancement of their technical and application knowledge as well as personal development goals.
- Act as point of contact for critical to close opportunities.
- Develop and manage sales office performance process including related metric definition and data analytics.
