MGX Equipment Services is looking to increase sales of replacement parts and solicit revenue repair work on equipment by hiring a Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) who will identify new opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide technical support.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Crane Equipment (i.e., ATs, RTs, Crawlers, etc.) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs inspections on cranes as per request by customers and/or insurance companies; completes inspections on time and discusses results with customer.
- Compiles and prepares lists and labor estimates for quotes.
- Provides customers with technical support; provides operator and maintenance orientation on new equipment; ensures scheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
- Researches and delivers parts to customers.
- Works closely with Parts and Service Managers to accomplish monthly sales goals.
- Increases sales of replacement parts and solicits revenue repair work on equipment.
- Subject matter expert on complete product line in area of responsibility.
Other
- High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of three (3) years of sales experience preferred within the construction equipment industry.
- Must be self-disciplined and have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to gaining clientele.
- Must have clean driving record with the ability to travel.
- Travel: 80% daily travel within assigned territory; occasional overnight travel required.
- Perform job functions in a safe manner.
