Requirements
- Knowledge of the company's products, services, and special programs
- Ability to stay informed about competitor activities and products
- Knowledge of used equipment to assist with trade-in evaluations
- Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment, as necessary
- Ability to perform extensive keystroke tasks
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site training for store staff and customers as needed
- Perform follow-up activities required for new equipment sales and manufacturer end-user direct sales
- Quote and sell for the parts and service department and Preventative Maintenance (PM) contracts
- Address customer concerns and furnish technical support where applicable
- Collect profiling information to enhance customer satisfaction
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Ability to set work priorities, work independently in the absence of supervision, and be able to understand and carry-out oral and written directions
- Ability to stay motivated and retain focus on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Ability to lift or move 10 lbs, frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
