Stowers Machinery is looking for a motivated individual to provide recommendations for lowering customer owning and operating costs, develop customer relationships to influence parts and service purchases, and ensure customer satisfaction by effectively communicating between the customer and internal operations.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and how it operates.
- Is knowledgeable and proficient in using software packages essential for performing job duties (MSExcel, MSWord, Lotus Notes).
Responsibilities
- Performs a targeted number of generator inspections per week
- Provides recommendations prevalent to lowering their customer's owning and operating costs.
- Makes regular visits to customers within their territory to develop relationships that will allow them to influence the customer to purchase Stowers Engines parts and service.
- Effectively communicates between the customer and the parts and service operations on any problems that may arise.
- Maintains >90% call performance for all assigned accounts.
- Meets annual target of preventive maintenance contracts sold in the assigned territory.
- Maintains 100% accuracy for Caterpillar equipment serial numbers on the machine population.
Other
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good computer and communication skills are required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening test.
- Able to work a standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
