Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) needs a First-Line Product & Services Quality Manager for the Conformity and Customer Coordination 777-9 Team to ensure products, services, and processes comply with requirements and to drive improvements in quality and production systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 3+ years of management experience with Quality or Operations or leading managers / teams in Operations and/or Quality position
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Prior work experience supporting Aircraft Type Certificate and/or Production Certificate projects with applicable knowledge in regulatory and quality procedures
  • 2+ years of experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) process
  • Experience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS)

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
