In gTech Users and Products (gUP), the mission is to advocate for Google's users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem, supporting users from different countries, cultures, incomes, and identities. This role will drive innovative solutions that enhance user experience and engagement across Google's products, support product launches, and make the web safer, more private, and accessible.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-driven workflows, including working with prompt engineering to optimize outputs from large language models.
  • Experience with web development, including building prototypes, internal developer tools, or code examples.
  • Excellent technical leadership, investigative, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build systems and tools to support the collection of consolidated feedback on Chrome's web platform and agentic efforts, ensuring the right solutions are delivered to the core team.
  • Improve the origin trial experience and consolidate user insights to inform product development.
  • Use data to create dashboards that track web platform usage and provide key insights to guide Chrome's product strategy.
  • Help in scaling new web features by improving the Origin Trial process and by creating clear documentation for developers.
  • Explore new ways to use AI to get better insights from partner feedback, influencing the web platform roadmap.
