MaterialsJobs is looking to perform laboratory tests to determine physical characteristics of materials and products for such purposes as quality control, process control or product development.
Requirements
- Has strong mechanical knowledge.
- Has knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Program Logic experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with tools, fluid systems, and electrical is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs testing in accordance with relevant specification(s).
- Has detailed understanding of test methods and specifications.
- Performs basic calculations from tests.
- Runs most tests and procedures within area.
- Follows quality and safety procedures.
- Repairs equipment.
- Writes reports and communicates with clients.
Other
- Follows daily work assignments relative to test schedule.
- Maintains appearance of work area.
- Commits to on-time completion of work assignments.
- Availability for weekend checks.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
