Newport News Shipbuilding is looking to solve the problem of providing effective in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
Requirements
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
- 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers
- Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs
- Prepares training materials
- Develops course content
- Determines methodology
- Coordinates the development of training aids
- Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
Other
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience
- Master's degree and 4 year of exempt experience
- US Citizenship Required for this Position
