Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) is looking for a training professional to develop and coordinate in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers, specifically within the Nuclear Power Program (NNPP) and Reactor Servicing domain.

- Facilitation and instructional design experience within the NNPP and Reactor Servicing experince.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
- Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
- Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
- Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
- Facilitation and instructional design experience within the NNPP and Reactor Servicing experince.
- This position is part of the Newport News Shipbuilding Reactor Servicing Engineering group, responsible for providing design and engineering support to service Navy nuclear reactors.

- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 year of exempt experience
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
