The Product Validation Engineer needs to develop test methods and perform tests to validate product performance and product compliance using standards and regulations, ensuring products meet safety, quality, and durability standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D parametric modeling (SolidWorks/Inventor), as well as Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel and Word.
- Strong knowledge in FEA, hydraulics, electronics and strength of materials.
- Ability to develop and maintain a test department and record and analyze data.
- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Develops test procedures, performs product validation tests and documents results.
- Recommends, develops and maintains test equipment.
- Documents and maintains compliance records to meet domestic and international regulations.
- Researches and understands standards and regulations to advise other internal groups.
- Identifies changes early in the design process relating to standard compliance, or to recognize deficiencies in existing designs.
- Able to design test methods, develop test fixtures and equipment.
- Ability to operate and test Weiler equipment.

- Collaborates effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments.
- Conducts work and validation tests in a safe manner at all times.
- May travel up to 25% of time.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present technical information to internal and external individuals and groups, regardless of the group’s technical background.
- Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.
