Wausau Tile is seeking to improve its Shipping & Receiving operations by hiring a hardworking, energetic, and safety-minded individual to join the team.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Capable of operating forklifts, loaders, and other equipment
- Ability to use MES system
- Ability to use hoists and manual lifting techniques
- Knowledge of material handling equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate dump trucks
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
Responsibilities
- Retrieve materials from indoor or outdoor inventory using forklifts or loaders.
- Stage materials in production areas based on weekly schedules and pour requirements.
- Load finished products onto flatbed trailers, enclosed containers, and cube vans.
- Use forklifts, hoists, and manual lifting techniques (including team lifting for items over 50 lbs).
- Maintain proper inventory levels of aggregate and raw materials using the MES system.
- Perform routine maintenance checks (oil, grease, cleanliness) on material handling equipment.
- Load dump trucks with waste materials (e.g., vibro block, broken tile, sample returns, mixer washouts).

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs in all directions
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, bending, stretching, twisting, squatting, and kneeling
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders or stairs as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
