Early Warning is seeking to support and protect the U.S. financial system by providing cutting-edge payment solutions and ensuring operational stability through application and system support for its clients.
Requirements
Ability to research and quickly resolve highly technical system and application issues.
Knowledge and experience supporting batch and online processing systems.
Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, MS Office, Visio, Cisco or Juniper networking (for Telco/Transmissions-Focused Positions).
Knowledge of telecom/network functions and transmission protocols such as, TCP/IP, SFTP or Connect:Direct (for Telco/Transmissions-Focused Positions).
Experience supporting applications and an ability to relate business needs to system capability.
Utilizes business process modeling applications for ETL (Edit Transform Load) functions required for client file processing.
Install and maintain File Transmission software applications, configuration files and various system components that support the movement and management of file deliveries (for Telco/Transmissions-Focused Positions).
Responsibilities
Analyze complex business problems, recommend solutions, resolve operational or systems issues within the primary application; this includes supporting the supplemental middle ware apps, or the operating system.
Perform application configuration setups and modifications according to policy and documented audit controls.
Create and maintain documentation of operational processes and policies to conform to audit requirements.
Provide on-call support to Operations for 'level 1 and level 2' escalation issues ensuring all required details are updated in the ticketing application.
Participate in annual Disaster Recovery functional drills and full scale tests.
Assist in scheduled maintenance events that require application support on production systems.
Manage client implementation testing related to new and existing clients in assigned area.

Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems with experience supporting users and an ability to relate business needs to system capability OR Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with bank processing experience.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and policy compliance.
