The Production Engineering team is responsible for building and operating the cloud platform for Venafi Control Plane, which is utilized by some of the world's largest organizations to protect and manage machine identities.

Requirements

• Experience in building infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• Proficiency with Git and Git workflows.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and programming languages such as Python and Go.
• Experience in 24/7 production environments.
• Basic skills in system and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Cloud Infrastructure platform for Venafi as a Service.
• Create the foundation for a fast and secure CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with teams across the entire organization.

• Work hybrid schedule from Salt Lake City, Utah or Santa Clara, CA office.
• A security-oriented mindset.
• Capacity to adapt to rapid changes in the cloud landscape with a quick learning ability.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, and/or Kubernetes certifications.
