At Boeing, the business problem is to stabilize and improve the production system, and the company is looking for a leader to fill a K-level management position at the Auburn/Fredrickson sites to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Tool Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working in a production environment
- Experience in leading or managing teams
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Solid understanding of Tool Engineering processes and tools
- ABET accredited degree
Responsibilities
- Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the production system.
- Develop and maintain working together relationships with MBU partners, internal stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
- Clearly communicate status of projects both internally and externally.
- Manage, develop and motivate employees to achieve their best as individuals and as a team.
- Design and maintain tooling assets
- Develop and implement production system assets
- Lead the development and implementation of production system assets
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
