Grange Co-op is looking to manufacture and produce quality fertilizer products through established procedures and approved processes
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to work in confined work environment for long periods
Responsibilities
- Stack bagged fertilizer
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
- Make periodic inspections of all stored fertilizer
- Make inspections of stored grain as requested by Fertilizer Agronomist
- Be familiar with manufacturing processes and procedures
- Ensure floor organization and plant cleanliness
- Ensure floor stocking levels are met
Other
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or One to three months related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Sense of urgency towards production
- Ability to react to change
- Strong communication skills
