Comfort Research is looking to solve production efficiency problems in their packing area by hiring a Bean Packer I to perform fundamental tasks and support the production team.
Requirements
- Ability to move and manipulate products/materials weighing up to 50 pounds, involving frequent twisting, lifting, turning, and bending.
- Ability to continuously pull, push, and tug materials.
- Ability to read and understand job aids and other instructional materials printed in English is preferred.
- General manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work with equipment such as box making machines and tape dispensers.
- Ability to use basic hand tools such as utility knives and box cutters.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Make boxes and prepare them for packing, ensuring proper setup and durability.
- Push packed boxes to designated areas for storage or shipping.
- Blow off excess beans from packaging areas to maintain cleanliness and product quality.
- Load products into boxes efficiently while ensuring proper alignment and packing standards.
- Tape boxes securely to prepare them for shipment and inventory storage.
- Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain efficiency in production processes to help meet daily output goals.
Other
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work 3:30PM - 2:00AM, M-TH shift.
