A Production Test Engineer is responsible for implementing a test program that will validate customer specifications and determine if a product is suitable for delivery.
Requirements
The Production Test Engineer must have a thorough understanding of power supplies, DMM’s, Oscilloscopes, etc.
The successful candidate shall have a fundamental knowledge of and experience producing and testing electronics.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to solve basic lab debug problems.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel, as well as with Windows PC based applications in general.
The understanding of and ability to implement automated data acquisition techniques is desired.
The knowledge of and experience with Environmental design verification testing is desired.
The candidate must be able to translate specification requirements into applied test verification of design requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop test plans, procedures and reports to customer specifications.
Provide inputs to Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM) based on program specific, customer specification documents.
Integrate Derived Requirements from design activities into RVM and test procedures.
Validate product performance in accordance with product specification via approved test procedures.
Provide documentation of performance verification via test results and reports.
Perform test activities defined by approved test procedures.
Coordinate outside resources for environmental testing (EMI/EMC, Vibration etc.)

This position will interact on all levels with Program Management, Design Engineering, Software Engineering, Administration, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to ascertain validation level and methodology.
Follow applicable SEAKR Engineering Procedures as documented in the Quality Manual.
Prepare and present customer briefings as required by Program Management.
Provide equipment support and guidance for the Production Test Technician.
Work occasional weekends or long hours to support program schedules.
