The Boeing Company is seeking a First-Line Products & Services Quality Manager to lead Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance activities for their Fabrication Core Quality Team in Auburn, Washington. This role is crucial for ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality, compliance, or manufacturing functions with at least 3 years in a formal or informal leadership role supporting fabrication/production
- 1+ years of experience in a role focused on compliance
- Demonstrated, hands‑on experience planning, leading and closing QMS compliance audits (internal, supplier, and process audits) and managing audit finding remediation to timely closure
- Direct experience using and administering PASA or equivalent compliance/event systems to detect, document, prioritize and drive remediation of emerging issues
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and report quality/compliance KPIs and to use KPI trends to identify risks and trigger early mitigation actions
- Experience performing and overseeing Core Quality activities such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs), assessments, containment and verification of corrective action effectiveness
- Practical skills in problem solving and root‑cause analysis (coaching teams through containment, RCA, corrective and preventive actions) and in converting findings into prioritized action plans

- Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated ability to align QA, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Supplier Quality on processes, governance, and documentation; ability to prepare executive summaries and status reports
- Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries with working knowledge of airworthiness processes and regulatory requirements; prior authorization or experience making airworthiness determinations
- Professional certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), and/or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001/AS9100)
