The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is looking to implement Power Platform solutions to streamline the acquisition life cycle, accelerate processes, reduce administrative burden, and enhance the overall end-user customer experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Python, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook, and Matplotlib data visualization.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
- Experience with Power Apps solutions.
- Experience with Power Platform solutions.
- Experience with Python based visualizations.
- Experience with data mining, data analysis and visualization, data structures, and data manipulation.
- Experience with interactive dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Identify technical solutions to resolve inefficiencies and non-compliance with standard DoD acquisition directives/instructions, statues, and processes.
- Analyze current sources of acquisition-related data to identify stored content that can be pulled into Power Platform solutions or Python based visualizations.
- Prepare a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) outlining recommendations designed to expedite the transition to a more efficient and effective acquisition technical platform.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various locations using Pandas or equivalent tool.
- Lead development efforts that support advanced data visualizations and analytics in Power Platforms and Python based visualizations to support data-driven decision-making for DTRA AL and required Directorate senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Acquisition Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and DTRA Program Managers, to define and document current metadata structures supporting acquisition workflows.
- Lead team workshops to explain data mining, data analysis and visualization, data structures, and data manipulation with the goal toward the development and deployment of interactive dashboards.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; master’s degree desired.
- A minimum of 10 years of related professional experience.
- Experience working with and briefing senior level DoD personnel; excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
