MetroStar is seeking a Program Director to manage client relationships, provide project direction, handle administrative functions for government contracting, and identify growth opportunities within the client's organization.
Requirements
- You have at least two (2) years specialized experience in leading IT DevSecOps projects within an Agile environment
- You have demonstrated experience in executing agile programs with AI/ML
- You have experience managing large complex IT programs for Federal customers related to new product development and modernization (ideally for services that leverage big data and include integrations with other source systems)
- You have experience strategizing, planning, leading organizing, and motivating project delivery team
- You have experience monitoring and managing the financials and staffing of an IT program
Responsibilities
- You’ll define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for technical project management
- You’ll manage project financials and supporting contract documents ensuring a healthy project gross margin, appropriate staff utilization, funding and contracts paperwork, invoicing and payments, budge to actual variances, financial and staffing projections, estimate to complete and estimate at completion, project management review reporting, and, if appropriate, earned-value reporting
- You'll prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of project team and completion of assignments
- You’ll evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of project scope changes
- You'll collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements
- You’ll escalate project risks to the appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders
- You’ll report to a MetroStar Director or Vice President who will provide support, guidance, information, and resources to help you be successful
Other
- You will interface with the client/government leadership on topics related to the project
- You will provide overall direction/guidance to the project team
- You will perform all administrative functions related to government contracting (staffing, financials, reporting, etc.)
- You will have a growth mindset to determine opportunities to support the client on other efforts
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience, focusing on agile projects
- You have at least three (3) years specialized experience in business process analysis and change management
- You have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
