Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning needs to deploy machine learning models, improve algorithms, customize models for partners, drive open-source efforts, and ensure seamless integration of AI technologies in healthcare.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of software engineering experience in ML/AI projects
- strong Python programming skills
- proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch)
- experience with model deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar
- Experience with MLOps tools/practices (monitoring models, handling model drift, continuous integration/continuous deployment)
- domain familiarity in biotech, computational biology, medical imaging, drug discovery
- experience with geometric deep learning
- cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Responsibilities
- lead deploying machine learning models developed in our labs
- collaborate with researchers to improve novel algorithms
- customize models for industry and healthcare partners
- drive open-source software efforts
- contribute to grant proposals, academic papers, and reports
- ensure seamless integration of AI technologies in diagnostics, treatment personalization, and outcome prediction
