BAE Systems Countermeasures & Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) Solutions business area is seeking a Program Engineering Manager (PEM) to support the Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) product line. The PEM will provide technical stewardship of the engineering effort for the entire program ensuring the solution meets customer programmatic and technical requirements within the allocated engineering cost and schedule.
Requirements
- Experience with project estimation, schedule & resource planning, project execution & tracking and earned value management
- Experience with leading/developing engineering proposals
- CAM experience on externally reported programs, strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems
- Familiarity with agile development concepts
- Familiarity with model based systems engineering
- Experience with all phases of program execution from proposal to sustainment
Responsibilities
- Support a strategy role through coordination of multiple projects to ensure system design, technical performance, and program dependencies are documented and understood.
- Provide technical stewardship of the engineering effort for the entire program ensuring the solution meets customer programmatic and technical requirements within the allocated engineering cost and schedule.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team working state of the art threat detection solutions to include the 2-Color Advanced Warning System (2CAWS) and the AN/AAR-57 Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) products.
- Management of all engineering activities required to deliver and support critical mission capabilities.
- Meeting cost, schedule and technical performance for projects through their life cycle.
- Preparation and approval of competitive engineering bids that are executable, meet established price-to-win targets, and grow the business.
- Development and maintenance of measures related to engineering performance.
