Samsung Research America Digital Health Team is seeking a Program Manager to drive the execution of the Digital Health Team’s Sponsored Research Program.
Requirements
Strong background in clinical research operations (preferably in digital health/wearables space) and hands-on experience supporting trials from start to finish
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, deliverables, resource allocation, risk assessments and budgets
Demonstrated experience collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners and technical team members to ensure alignment and effective execution of clinical studies and device deployment
Proven track record of delivering challenging multidisciplinary scientific and technical projects
Identify and work to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall project, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with cross-functional implications
Tracking project progress using appropriate metrics and tools, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strong program management system to manage multiple programs effectively
Help manage the Sponsored Research Program and university partnerships to ensure that our co-innovation leads to strong research outcomes
Evaluate wearable and mobile apps used in the study to ensure stability and ease of use
Help troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, deliverables, resource allocation, risk assessments and budgets
Tracking project progress using appropriate metrics and tools, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
Other
Master’s or graduate degree in engineering or sciences preferred or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
6+ years of program management experience, including 4+ years in a digital health/wearable environment
Self-starter who can lead projects and teams with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented multi-tasker with strong organization skills
Strong interpersonal skills, executive presence and the ability to collaborate with anyone in the organization
