Google is looking to solve problems related to the global supply chain and operations for its hardware products. This involves managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating stakeholders, planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams and different geographical locations. The goal is to build upon the foundation for business systems architecture within the fast-growing Google Devices and Services organization.
Requirements
- Experience leading life-cycle of software development programs.
- Experience with Supply Chain Management processes (i.e., planning/inventory analysis, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, reverse logistics, etc.).
- Experience partnering with analysts and developers to understand business requirements, overall solution, and functional designs.
- Experience in data visualization, analytics, or data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage the cross-functional partnership to define initiatives, including new business models and key capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize the programs and initiatives for execution programs.
- Leverage and plan via Software Development Methodologies (i.e., Agile or Waterfall) to execute application projects from design to launch.
- Evaluate team progress and monitor risks and mitigation with respect to managed projects.
- Execute the project plan by organizing and managing the activities to ensure timely completion.
Other
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in supply chain management (i.e., contract manufacturing (CM), procurement, original design manufacturing (ODM), etc.).
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization.
- US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
