Riot Games needs to build foundational systems to support the entire research discipline, making it more scalable, secure, and impactful.

Requirements

  • Experience working with quantitative research tools (e.g., UserTesting, UserInterviews)
  • Experience working with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Sawtooth)
  • Strong understanding of research quality principles, including sampling, panel health, and data integrity
  • Experience designing governance for research tools, data access, or research quality standards
  • Experience with various project methodologies and their applications (e.g. Agile, Six Sigma)
  • Familiarity with Riot’s games and player base
  • Experience with data quality and sampling standards (e.g., stratification, weighting, response integrity, oversampling mitigation)

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize governance for Riot’s quantitative research systems
  • Partner cross-functionally with Researchers, Analysts, and Devs to design and implement scalable systems and integrations
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies in current quantitative research workflows
  • Collaborate with Research Craft leads to set and uphold standards for data quality and sampling
  • Develop enablement systems (training, onboarding, documentation) to empower researchers across the org
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement platforms, tools, vendors, and technical solutions to strengthen and scale Riot’s quantitative research capabilities

Other

  • 6+ years of experience in quantitative research operations or quantitative research program management
  • Previous experience in the games industry
  • Previous experience as a researcher (e.g., UX or market research)
  • Previous program experience in a large organization
  • Experience leading change management initiatives for large-scale programs
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Ability to ramp up quickly
