Apple's Worldwide Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to lead Product Operations focused initiatives. The goal is to enable new supply chain capabilities, drive process optimization, increase scale & efficiency, and minimize cost.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program management experience in supply chain or related field
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes in the electronics industry - design, manufacturing, logistics, after-sale service
  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
  • Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability including working with international teams.
  • Executive Presentation: Ability to summarize key points and tie them back to the customer experience & business objectives
  • Proven track record of leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to execute at tactical project-level activities and tasks.
  • Experience with business process mapping and driving supply chain process improvement using Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • managing and driving large scale initiatives, cross functionally and cross regionally, to enable new supply chain capabilities, drive process optimization, increase scale & efficiency, and minimize cost.
  • identify and resolve key issues in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, facing exciting challenges daily.
  • handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization and be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.
  • leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability including working with international teams.
  • summarize key points and tie them back to the customer experience & business objectives
  • leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to execute at tactical project-level activities and tasks.
  • driving supply chain process improvement using Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed organization, build cross-functional relationships, and make data-driven decisions.
  • The base pay range for this role is between $142,000 and $214,100
