The Mission Assurance Program Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible for the quality and mission assurance for emerging domestic and international sustainment programs at Raytheon.
Requirements

- Implementation of internal and contractual quality requirements.
- Design, development, test, transition to production, production, and high-reliability environment
- Functional activities in support of programmatic, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, test and post-delivery efforts.
- Root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.
- Material review and disposition of nonconforming material.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage a Quality Management System and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout the contract lifecycle and including vendor-flow-down.
- Create or tailor existing quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to Raytheon program teams and supply base, as needed.
- Advise multi-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement activities, with an emphasis on six sigma, lean, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) practices.
- Interface directly with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers, government representatives, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) partners.
- Provide Quality technical support, including but not limited to developing build/production readiness information; Verifying all products are complete, integrated and tested; performance Acceptance Test surveillance; Control of Nonconforming Material (Prelim, MRB, FRB, NOE); Utilize quality measures and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in supply base capability assessments and monitoring supplier performance.
- Conduct and/or monitor product and process assessments, including evaluating work and inspection instructions.
Other
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant prior experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Occasional travel between the locations will be required.
