Responsibilities
- Administer database security to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, assist in the writing of TSQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and update data.
- May develop Integration Services (SSIS) Packages where appropriate
- Participates as a member of a systems design team during the Software Development Life Cycle of a project
- Create and monitor database jobs that perform database validation checks or handles the automation of importing/exporting data
- Develop and maintain database dictionary reference guides for all databases,
- Develop and maintain entity/relationship diagrams for all databases
- Develops new reports or modify existing reports. Software used for report development is Crystal Reports, Cognos, and Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
