Requirements
- Require knowledge of Java, .Net, XML and SQL.
- Proficient understanding of application development lifecycles
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
- Knowledge of NC Programming applications
- Knowledge of Engineering CAD applications
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Advanced thinking and problem-solving ability
Responsibilities
- Read, build and code solutions using tools such as Java, JavaScript and Visual Basic
- Use knowledge of computing technology, programming languages, and software development life cycles to develop, program, maintain, applications and application modules
- Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Serve as a technical liaison with application users, developers, application analysts, architects, and other technical and support personnel in functional areas requiring knowledge and proficiency in engineering, manufacturing, or scientific disciplines.
- Ability to support a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure the continuous operation and stability of production systems
- Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status, dates, and build relationships.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and work well with a team
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or other related field of study
- 1 - 2 years’ related experience with a Bachelor’s
- 2 - 4 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 6 years related experience minimum without a degree
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
- Ability to perform on-call rotation
