Michigan Medicine needs to develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced machine learning applications to support research predictive analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Preferably have completed two years of engineering/computer science programs, including 280/281 completion.
- Data science with ML/AI focused are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Able to design, code, test, debug, document, and maintains programs.
- Competent to work on all phases of software development life cycle.
- May require supporting department research related projects involving complex queries and database work.
- Research, design, develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced machine learning application to support research predictive analytics initiatives.
Other
- Working with a mentor, incumbent will be asked to assess needs, and scope detailed functional specifications.
- Mentor will provide instructions, and guidance on all phases of the project.
- Incumbent will be working directly under the MAISE informatics team from Anesthesiology.
- Research may involve interaction with the department MPOG and QA teams.
- Onsite at the start, hybrid possible once onboarded.
- 20-40 hours per week.
