L3Harris is seeking to fill an Intern – Project & Component Engineering role for Summer 2025 to perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects, support senior engineering staff, and gain experience in the design and development of rocket propulsion hardware.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects.
- support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects.
- Projects may focus on aspects of project or component engineering including assisting in the design and development of rocket propulsion hardware and providing technical support to engineers within such areas as systems interconnects or combustion devices.
- With the guidance and mentorship of senior engineering staff, lead assigned projects.
Other
- Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September.
- Intern must be able to operate effectively in a team environment.
- Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
