Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice needs to deliver large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies, requiring expertise in data migration and integration to enhance customer experiences and drive sustained growth.
Requirements
- 7 + years' experience with data migration, data integration and data management
- 4+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and orchestrating data pipelines
- 4+ years experience with SQL Server and T-SQL for database management and querying
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including data models, entities, and data management tools
- Familiarity with other Azure data services (e.g., Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Dataverse).
- Experience with other programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies, plans, and methodologies (including mapping, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation).
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other relevant tools to move data from source to target systems
- Mentor junior team members and oversee the technical direction of a team.
- Utilize business applications and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related, but not limited, to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations and Software Application Development & Maintenance
