RTX is looking for a Project Engineer Co-Op to assist with the day-to-day execution on the design & sustainment of Flight Control Computers and Air Management Systems, while addressing obstacles in a fast-paced development program.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with entry and tracking of Standard Work closure and preparation for Gate Reviews
- Create and maintain project schedules
- Track action items and assist in driving issues to closure
- Support closure of hardware production issues and participate in RCCA activities
- Process Engineering Changes, Deviations and maintain Work Package Instructions (WPI’s) as necessary
- Participate in lab testing of Hardware and Software
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
Other
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester); it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity.
