ALPLA is looking for a Project Manager to design layouts of equipment, assist in specifying new production equipment, and manage project development from beginning to end to support business goals.
Requirements
- Technical Engineering background, prefer mechatronic experience.
- Understanding of technical and financial aspects of ALPLA’s processes.
- Proficient with MS office applications
- Preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified with PMI (Project Management Institute)
Responsibilities
- Designs layouts of equipment.
- Assists in specifying new production equipment including researching of available providers, determination of specifications, obtaining quotations, recommending purchases, performing factory-acceptance-tests, arranging installation, completing startup, training, and performance qualification.
- Assists Automation team to find the ideal setup for the Factory flow.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end to include, defining project scope, goals, success criteria, project plans, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Ensures correct information for quotations (Cost, Feasibility, Cycle time estimation, efficiencies, machine and mold configuration, Secondary packaging layout), and then draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend changes when necessary.
- Estimate and negotiate with other internal functional areas for required personnel, and any additional staff and/or consultants that may be necessary during project cycle.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and manage project dependencies and critical path for optimized scheduling.

- Minimum 4-year degree in engineering, project management or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of work experience at ALPLA or similar industry
- Strong organizational skills
