T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy.
Requirements
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar)
- Proven experience managing contractors and subcontractors across multiple trades (MEP, structural, utilities, equipment installation, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, P&IDs, one-lines, equipment specs, and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
- Ability to drive projects from design through construction, commissioning and handoff to operations
- Solid knowledge of safety standards, permitting and regulatory compliance
Responsibilities
- Lead general contractors and trade subcontractors through the installation of new equipment and infrastructure
- Partner closely with construction engineering, design, facilities, commissioning, and operations teams as each site moves from construction into active production
- Own schedules, budgets, and day-to-day coordination to ensure projects come online safely, efficiently and on time
- Manage all project start up processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and job-cost setup for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work
- Review project plans, engineering and drawings, P&IDs, and system documentation to ensure all materials, components and installation requirements are accounted for
- Deliver projects in accordance with T1 Energy's standards, specifications, and procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and operational readiness throughout the entire lifecyle
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, facilities, engineering, industrial/plant engineering, or manufacturing build-out environments.
- Ability to thrive in non-traditional timelines with speed-to-market mindset, balancing urgency with quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to work efficiently with engineering, facilities, commissioning and operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly in the field.
