Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Project Lead to manage the promotion phase within the baseline lifecycle for the E2 Program, supporting Echelon 2 maintenance for an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program. This role involves promoting custom Software baselines, COTS, and Hardware to multiple locations, ensuring consistency and proper documentation.
Requirements
- UNIX/Linux command line level knowledge
- A working understanding of Software/Hardware/COTS Configuration Management (CM) methodologies
- User level knowledge of COTS Configuration Management tool(s)
- A thorough understanding of Software lifecycles
- Experience with Agile type development programs
Responsibilities
- act as a project lead for the promotion of custom Software baselines, COTS, and Hardware to multiple locations to include support/test systems and the operational system.
- perform audits of baseline content
- research and resolve inconsistencies from the audits
- maintain the release content documentation
- customize the detailed promotion installation checklist
- conduct the execution of the promotion checklist during the baseline promotion.
- support the development facility to assist with the preparations for the baseline promotion phase.
Other
- An active TS/SCI w/ poly security clearance is required for consideration
- After hours response to a pager will be required on a rotating basis.
- Working non-standard shifts will be required infrequently to support periodic system promotion activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences; able to facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholders
- Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to upper management and customers
