Siemens Industry, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to execute mid and high-level complexity electrical distribution projects within the Industrial Market, including Chemical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Food & Beverage, EV Infrastructure, and Aerospace, to improve customer experience and increase business unit margins.
Requirements
- BA/BS in engineering or business administration
- 3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products
- Experience with SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc
- BS in engineering
- Working with distributors, contractors (electrical and general), and in construction market
- Current PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
- Experience with COMPAS
Responsibilities
- Project manager for multiple projects across the country
- Accountable for order execution including schedule, financial, and commissioning performance
- Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff
- Use COMPAS to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues
- Increase business unit margins through positive value adds to change orders, price escalations and selling extended warranties
- Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues
