The company is looking to solve the problem of managing data, identifying corrosion loops and inspection circuits on drawings, and performing data entry for Asset Integrity Management (AIM).

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and practical experience with AutoCAD (or similar) software
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel (ability to match fonts, indentions, create tables, and use basic functions)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
  • General knowledge of components used in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems
  • General knowledge of processes in refineries and chemical plants
  • Understanding of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System
  • Minimum of 5 years of Computer Aided Design (CAD), AIM or other relevant technical experience

Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize process equipment technical data including process safety information, engineering design documents and drawings, maintenance records, and inspection records
  • Develop baseline and redline field sketches for various technical drawings such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and inspection isometric drawings for fixed equipment and piping
  • Populate and update data required for proper implementation and maintenance of inspection database management systems (IDMS) such as Visions, PCMS, Meridium, etc.
  • Populate various spreadsheets for mechanical integrity projects such as master equipment list (MEL) spreadsheets, piping line lists, and piping circuit identification lists
  • Highlight Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs with required color coding and line patterns to assist with Corrosion and Material Diagrams (CMDs) generation or updating
  • Highlight fixed equipment and piping system corrosion loops (systems) at the PFD level and inspection circuits at the P&ID level
  • Assist with placement of condition monitoring locations (CMLs) on isometric drawings

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reports to Supervisor or above
  • Provide critical feedback to project management when cost or scheduling issues are recognized
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Ability to work in refineries and chemical plants
