Requirements
- Basic computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Prior research and laboratory work with an emphasis on protein-related research.
- Prior wet lab research experience.
- Ability to use near vision to view samples at close range.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic laboratory experiments and general duties.
- Assist with protein detection methods, including immunoassay design and development.
- Assist with nucleic acid extraction methods.
- Assist with nucleic acid amplification and detection methods, including but not limited to qPCR and NGS.
- Display understanding of basic data statistical analysis.
- Display strong applications of literature research and innovative idea application to a laboratory setting.
- Ability to use various types of laboratory equipment; including microscopes, microtomes, blades, strainers, and pipettes for extended periods of time.
Other
- Enrollment towards Bachelor’s degree in the field of Life Sciences.
- Display excellent communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability.

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
