Duracell is seeking to lead projects in the development and deployment of innovative ML and MV solutions across the organization that support Duracell’s Automation Master Plan. This role will be critical in shaping the company's technological future by supporting the rollout of cutting-edge capabilities that improve efficiency, enable automation, and enhance product and process intelligence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning and/or machine vision development
- Strong understanding of camera hardware, frame grabbers, lensing, lighting, and optical systems for industrial imaging applications.
- Strong understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, CNNs, object detection, image segmentation, etc.
- Hands-on experience with ML/MV frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience deploying models into production and managing lifecycle
- Experience developing solutions in programming languages such in python, .NET, and/or C++
Responsibilities
- Guide the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and machine vision systems.
- Ensure best practices in data science, computer vision, MLOps, and model evaluation are followed.
- Drive the transition of prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Work alongside our Controls and Industrial Technology teams to integrate solutions into existing manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for ML/MV innovation.
- Lead the technical execution of strategic initiatives that leverage machine learning and vision technologies.
- Support change management and training efforts related to new tool and system rollouts.
