Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Test Engineer to manage multiple engine programs within the Assembly and Test Engineering Organization to ensure assembly operations readiness and flawless execution of test vehicle plans, builds, teardowns, and inspections.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering with 5+ years of technical experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree
- Experience in leading validation engine projects and in providing guidance to others.
- Proven ability in leading major validation projects, in leading process improvement projects, and in providing guidance to others.
- Proficient in the use of continuing improvement tools (ACE/CORE) to drive process improvements leading to increased customer satisfaction.
- ACE Associate certification is preferred as well as working towards ACE/CORE Practitioner certification.
- Experience in Team center and SAP
Responsibilities
- The Test Engineer is responsible to ensure assembly operations readiness and flawless execution of test vehicle Plan, builds, teardowns, and inspections.
- He/she will interface with CIPTs and Systems engineers to ensure assembly requirements are being met on time and within budget, interface with assembly support groups or DO group (Assembly Operation, Process Engineering, Tooling Services, Magic Shop, Clean Line, and Inspection), and lead assembly process improvement teams.
- The Test Engineer is the focal point within Assembly Operations for all assigned programs.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
