Power Home Remodeling Group is seeking a full stack Python Developer to build and deliver a web application platform that supports their people, ingenuity, and growth, aiming to reinvent the home remodeling industry.
Requirements
- 4+ years backend development experience (Python preferred)
- Docker/Kubernetes containerization and orchestration
- Experience incorporating automation and integration testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes)
- Data stores: PostgreSQL & Redis
- Testing frameworks: pytest, RSpec, Cypress
- Team: Scrum, Git
Responsibilities
- Work on challenging technology problems and design solutions that are lasting, sustainable and positive.
- Be part of a cross-functional Scrum team and work alongside other top talent, including application architects, UX designers, engineers and developers.
- Build and deliver highly visible products.
- Grow and mentor other team members.
- Build a custom suite of products that run the entire business, creating and deploying complete solutions for marketing, sales, operations, finance and more.
- Develop a custom communications platform that connects everyone in the company.
- Utilize cutting edge technologies like augmented reality, computer vision, machine learning, speech recognition and processing, geospatial data and a variety of mobile platforms.

- Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering quality work on time
- Solid communication, collaboration and mentoring skills to work with a range of colleagues from product specialists and end-users, to UX designers and other developers
- Remote, within 2 hours of EST OR hybrid onsite in the Greater Philadelphia Area
