The cloud infrastructure engineer will play a key role in the design, integration, and operation of a massively scalable cloud operating platform for client.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software automation
- 5+ years of expertise with Python
- Solid knowledge of web services include HTTP protocol, REST, and JSON
- Experience with Git/Github
- 5+ years of experience with Linux administration
- Experience with private cloud implementations such as OpenStack
- Must have experience working with REST APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ), databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQLAlchemy, NoSQL), distributed systems technologies (Celery).
- Individuals should also have experience working in an agile environment and hands-on experience with Vagrant, virtualenv, virtualization technologies and Git/Github
Responsibilities
- work with engineering and operations teams to further automate processes throughout the entire stack from application to network.
- interface with technical leads throughout the enterprise to close the continuous integration and continuous deployment loop leading the organization toward Platform as a Service and Software as a Service.
- architect solutions for integrating disparate systems and implementing custom business processes.
