CGI US is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join their development team to build scalable and efficient automation solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting (Bash, etc.).
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts for automation, system monitoring, and data processing.
- Integrate scripts with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Optimize and refactor existing scripts for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments.
- Maintain documentation for scripts and automation workflows.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in scripting and automation using Python and Shell.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based out of Houston, Texas.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
